Job DescriptionJob DescriptionPermanent Social Workers Safeguarding and Care PlanningSalary: 36,648 - 44,428 / yearIn this permanent role, youll be a vital part of a team dedicated to making a tangible difference in the lives of service users, carers, and families. Join us in this dynamic and challenging position, where youll have the opportunity to utilise your expertise in social work, safeguarding, and care planning to positively impact the community.Highlights of this role:Collaborate with a supportive team to assess and address the complex needs of service users, carers, and families.Develop and implement tailored care and support plans, ensuring the best possible outcomes.Be at the forefront of safeguarding efforts, proactively identifying and addressing potential risks.Preferred Requirements:Prepare for social work contact and involvement, including reviewing case notes, liaising with others, and evaluating information to support newly qualified social workers.Undertake assessments of support needs for service users, carers, and families, and assist in screening referrals.Produce, deliver, evaluate, and update care and support plans to address practical and emotional social care, health, and well-being difficulties.Work collaboratively with service users, carers, and families to help them make informed choices and decisions.Respond to crisis situations, making assessments about urgency and using appropriate legal intervention.Preferred Qualifications:Relevant social work qualification and registration with the appropriate regulatory body.Proven experience in safeguarding and care planning within a social work or similar setting.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with service users, carers, and families.To find out more information please contact Luke at:[email protected] is done in line with safe recruitment practices.
