Job Description Procurement Analyst Rotherham - 34,000 - 38,000Elevation Recruitment Group is proud to be partnering exclusively with a well-established global manufacturer who is looking to recruit a Procurement Analyst to join their team.As a Procurement Analyst, you will play a key role in strengthening supplier performance, ensuring cost efficiencies and supporting new product introduction.Working hours / Benefits37.5 hours per week. 8am-4:15pm (Mon to Thurs) 8:30am-3:30pm (Fri)CIPS study support and internal developmentProfit share bonus25 days holiday + bank holidays, with the option to buy, sell or carry over up to 5 days5% matched PensionLife assurance (4 x salary)Westfield HealthcareOnsite parkingThe RoleAs a Procurement Analyst, you will support sourcing activity, cost adherence and supplier coordination across both live supply and new product projects. Responsibilities will include:Acting as the day-to-day contact for key supplier accounts, managing communication, pricing and lead timesReviewing bills of materials to identify cost gaps, long lead time parts and supply risksCompleting BOM costings for new products to ensure target costs are achievedSupporting prototype and trial builds by coordinating material readiness with suppliersManaging focused supply chain projects such as last time buy activity, supplier transitions and design changesTracking savings, monitoring inventory liability and reporting excess stockYou will also maintain clear sourcing documentation and highlight supply or cost risksThe PersonPrevious experience working within manufacturingExperience using MRP systems and intermediate Excel skills (Pivot tables / Vlookups)Strong communication skills and confidence negotiating with suppliersAbout Elevation Recruitment GroupElevation Recruitment Group is a specialist recruitment consultancy that helps people build long-term, successful careers.
