Childrens Residential Team LeaderLocation:Rawtenstall, BB4Working Hours:42 hours per weekSalary:30,554 per annumSleep-In Allowance:78.30 per sleep-in (up to 8 per month, adding 7,516 annually)About the RoleWe are looking for dedicated and experienced Team Leaders to join a childrens residential care team. This role involves supporting children and young people who have experienced adverse childhood experiences and may have additional needs such as Autism, Social, Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (SEBD), or other complex challenges.As a Team Leader, you will assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the home, ensuring smooth shift transitions, delegating tasks to support workers, and maintaining high standards of care. Youll help children build relationships, engage in community activities, and develop essential life skills. Youll also be responsible for safeguarding, overseeing routines, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.What Were Looking ForLevel 3 qualification in Childrens Residential CareMinimum 2 years experience in a childrens residential settingExperience in leading a team is preferredFull UK manual driving licenceFlexibility to work long shifts and sleep-ins (e.g., 8am10pm plus sleep-in 10pm7am)Confidence in leading and supporting a teamWhat We OfferStarting rate of 13.99 per hour (dependent on qualifications and location)Sleep-in bonus: 78.30 per sleep-in (up to 8 per month = 7,516 annually)Comprehensive training including a paid two-week induction and shadow shifts500 welcome bonus after completing probation1,000 refer-a-friend schemeFlexible working pattern with fewer working days per week than a standard 95 roleFree on-site parking and meals during shiftsIf youre passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and young people, wed love to hear from you.JBRP1_UKTJ
