Job Description JOB TITLE: Groundworks Site SupervisorLOCATION RomfordWe are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established Groundworks sub-contractor delivering a range of civils and groundworks packages across residential and commercial projects. Due to continued growth and secured workstreams, they are looking to appoint an experienced Site Supervisor to support delivery teams on active sites.This is a hands-on supervisory role suited to someone with a strong groundworks background who is confident leading teams, maintaining site standards and ensuring works are delivered safely and efficiently.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervising groundworkers and gangs on site ensuring productivity and quality standards are metConducting daily work plan briefings and coordinating site activitiesDelivering toolbox talks, inductions and safety briefingsManaging and enforcing health & safety procedures on siteImplementing and monitoring RAMS and safe systems of workCoordinating labour, plant and materials with site managementEnsuring works are delivered in line with programme and specificationMaintaining clear communication with project managers and site teamsRequirementsProven experience supervising groundworks or civils packagesStrong understanding of groundworks operations and sequencingSSSTS or SMSTS qualificationCSCS Gold Card (minimum)Solid knowledge of health & safety regulations and site complianceAbility to manage teams, resolve issues and maintain site standardsWhats on OfferLong-term opportunity with a reputable groundworks contractorStrong pipeline of projectsCompetitive salary/day rate depending on experienceOpportunity to join a growing delivery team with progression potentialIf you are an experienced Site Supervisor with a strong groundworks background and are looking for your next opportunity, please apply with your CV or contact us directly for a confidential discussion.
