We are currently looking for a Sales Team Lead to join our Sales team in Longtown. We are looking for a well organised, motivated individual to support our growth strategy, drive profitability, and unlock the full potential of our freight and logistics proposition. You will lead a small team of Sales Advisors, while maintaining a strong individual sales performance. Your mission is to deliver quality outbound pipeline, strategic growth, and high standards of execution, modelling best practice for your team. The hours for this role will be 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday working agreed hours between 08:00 18:00. Experience in cold calling, email outreach, and digital prospecting tools. Experience in the transport or haulage industry preferred but not essential. Skills Strong CRM discipline, with experience managing pipelines and forecasts (e.g. Salesforce, HubSpot, other). Previous people leader or team lead experience in a target-driven environment. Excellent coaching, communication, and interpersonal skills. Goal- and results-oriented mindset, with the ability to operate both independently and collaboratively. Organised able to manage inboxes and reporting tasks with ease. Ability to communicate at all levels, both internally and externally. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Excellent attention to detail. Excellent numerical and analytical skills, including experience of spreadsheets and computer-based systems, including Microsoft products. Education and Qualifications GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Maths essential. NVQ (or equivalent) in related discipline preferred. Further education (A-levels, BTEC, etc.) preferred.
