Job Description Electrical Project ManagerRochester, Kent3-4 days a week in the office60,00065,000 We are currently partnering with a well-established power generation solutions provider who are looking for an Electrical Project Manager to join their growing operations team.They specialise in the installation, commissioning and maintenance of generator systems for commercial, industrial and critical environments such as data centres and hospitals. The team is growing and theyre looking for an experienced Electrical Project Manager who enjoys taking ownership of end-to-end project delivery, working closely with site engineers, subcontractors and clients to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.The role is based in Rochester, Kent and requires office working of 3-4 days a week.Key ResponsibilitiesManage electrical and generator installation projects from initiation through to completionDevelop and maintain project plans, schedules, and resource allocationOversee site activities, ensuring compliance with design specifications and regulationsCoordinate electricians, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholdersMonitor project budgets, costs, and variations to maintain financial controlConduct site inspections and lead progress meetings with clientsEnsure compliance with BS 7671 and all relevant health & safety regulationsIdentify and mitigate risks while resolving technical and logistical challengesPrepare project documentation, reports, and handover packsSupport commissioning, testing, and final project deliveryExperience RequiredProven experience as an Electrical Project Manager or similar roleStrong background in electrical installations, ideally within generator or power systemsGood understanding of commercial and industrial electrical systemsKnowledge of BS 7671 (IET Wiring Regulations) and UK compliance standardsExperience managing subcontractors and site teamsStrong planning, organisational, and budget management skillsExcellent communication and client-facing abilitiesProblem-solving mindset with strong attention to detailExperience using project management tools (e.g. MS Project or similar)Bonus Skills: Generator systems, ATS/UPS integration, low voltage distribution, critical environments (data centres, hospitals, utilities)Salary: 60,00065,000 Benefits: Pension Scheme, 25 Days Holidays, MedicalIf this role sounds of interest, please apply and I can give you a call.Tim [email protected] | 07980610737
