Computer Numerical Control Machine Operator

JOB – CNC Setter/Operator LOCATION- RochdaleTERM- Permanent SALARY- £40,000 - £45,000 per annum, dependent on experience My client is a manufacturer bespoke metal products. They are looking for a CNC Programmer/Operator to join their team in the Rochdale area on a permanent basis. The CNC Setter/Operator will ideally have the following attributes:Time Served Apprenticeship in Engineering / Manufacturing Experience with programming software (Amada, Bystronic, Trumpf, or similar)Experience with Grinding and Auto CoilingHave experience machining and manufacturing precision parts and componentsPrevious experience working as a CNC Operator / Machinist / Miller / Turner Be able to read from engineering drawingsHave previous experience working in a similar Machine Shop environmentBe able to work well alone as well as part of a teamThe CNC Setter/Operator role will involve:Working with CNC machinery and producing metal productsRunning multiple machines – small to medium batch workInspecting components as requiredCNC Milling or Turning working with varied controlsReading from engineering drawingsAdhering to company H&S requirementsIf you are interested in this position, please apply with an up to date CV as soon as possible, along with your availability and your salary expectation.
