Job Description Key Account Manager Energy Transition & Decarbonisation UK-based | Global Travel RequiredAbout the Role Were seeking a commercially driven Key Account Manager to join our expanding global sales team. Youll be at the forefront of supporting energy transition sectors, working with industries such as:Oil & GasPower GenerationCarbon CaptureHydrogen Generation & StorageWaste-to-XPower GridRenewable HeatingYour focus will be on developing new business opportunities, growing existing accounts, and delivering sustainable, profitable results.What Youll DoManage and grow a defined portfolio of key accounts within your sector focus.Build strong, long-term client relationships while identifying new business opportunities.Interpret customer technical requirements (specifications, drawings, standards) and propose effective solutions.Prepare cost estimates, proposals, and bid documentation to secure new projects.Collaborate with engineering, project management, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure delivery excellence.Support marketing initiatives aimed at driving growth in targeted sectors.Travel within the UK and internationally to attend client meetings, site visits, and industry events.What Were Looking For3+ years experience in Key Account Management or Engineering / Applications roles within relevant energy or industrial sectors.Proven track record in sales of technical or engineered products (e.g., pressure vessels, heat exchangers, piping, storage tanks, modular skids, acoustic & filtration equipment).Strong knowledge of the UK & EU market and working practices.Background in engineering/manufacturing with the ability to understand and communicate technical concepts.Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.Commercial awareness, analytical mindset, and problem-solving ability.QualificationsDiploma or higher in Business, Engineering, or Manufacturing (degree preferred).Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.Why Join Us?Youll play a pivotal role in supporting the global shift towards cleaner, more efficient energy systems, working with a collaborative, growth-focused team that values innovation, quality, and long-term client partnerships.On track to hit a record year with ambitious growth plans.Benefiting from a strong upturn in gas turbine sales, driven by datacentre demand.Offering innovative modularised products for the renewables sector.Recently secured our biggest-ever deal at 16 million.Three-year growth plan with massive expansion opportunities.Collaborative, friendly family feel culture, we work hard and celebrate together.
