Job Description We are currently seeking aCommercial Solar PV Electricianfor a permanent role working across commercial sites in the South of England. This position focuses on the electrical installation, inspection and testing of Solar PV systems on commercial properties. This is an excellent opportunity for anElectricianto join a fast-growing renewable energy company offering long-term stability, ongoing training and the chance to work on exciting solar projects.Role OverviewAs aSolar PV Electrician, you will be responsible for carrying out electrical installation, inspection and testing of Solar PV systems across commercial sites. TheElectricianwill ensure all systems are installed safely, efficiently and in line with current electrical regulations.The role will involve working as part of a dedicated engineering team and attending sites across the region, with occasional travel and overnight stays when required.Key ResponsibilitiesElectrical installation of commercial Solar PV systemsInspection, testing and commissioning of installationsCarrying out electrical works in line with industry regulations and safety standardsWorking closely with site teams and engineers on renewable energy projectsEnsuring all work is completed to a high standard and within project timescalesProviding professional communication with clients and site managers when requiredWe are looking for an Electrician who has:City & Guilds Level 3 qualifiedElectrician(apprentice trained)18th Edition Wiring RegulationsECS Gold Card (JIB) or equivalentExperience working on commercial electrical installationsStrong fault-finding and problem-solving skillsGood communication and teamwork abilitiesFull UK driving licenceWillingness to travel and stay away when requiredDesirable Experience2391 Inspection and Testing qualificationIPAF or PASMA certificationPrevious Solar PV experience (training can be provided)Whats on OfferAnnual salary 40,000 45,0008% annual bonus schemeCompany van and fuel card provided50 per night stay-away bonus25 daily food allowance when staying away25 days holiday plus bank holidays (rising with service)Birthday day offPension with employer contributionsFully provided tools, PPE and uniformDiscounted gym membershipHealth cash planLocation & CoverageThis role covers commercial sites across the South of England.
