Situated in stunning scenery above Swaledale, between Richmond and Kirkby Stephen. It is a leading destination venue, is known internationally and experiences high visitor footfall.What we need from you as a Duty Manager:A minimum of 12 months experience working as a Duty Manager in the hospitality industry or asimilar positionBe willing to cover any staff shortages at the other siteExperience managing a team with strong leadership and team-management skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal abilitiesA passion for delivering exceptional guest service and enhancing the guest experienceCan thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing prioritiesHave great customer service skillsPossess good attention to detailDriving Licence is essentialWhat this role involves:Reporting to the Site Manager. As Duty Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that day-to-day operations run smoothly. Duties include but arenot limited to:Ensure standards of customer service and experience are consistently met and exceededDeal with any customer complaints, refunds, and negative reviewsMaintain customer communication and interaction onsiteDevelop and manage an activity plan aimed at realising thebest value from existing facilities, including the identification of KPIsEnsure operational costs and stock are controlledActively contribute to the companys social media and content strategiesSupport the onsite marketing strategy to upsell and sell the next visitEnsure point of sale is maintained and that merchandise is actively pushed by the staffKeep a check on guest rooms, communal areas, and grounds to ensure they are cleaned and maintained to agreed standardsCashing up - till closures are completed accuratelyLead and manage operation teams including conducting staff appraisalsSalary: 14 - 16 per hour.Hours of work: 35-55 hours per week.
