Be among the first 25 applicants to apply for this role and get AI-powered advice on this job and other exclusive features.Job Overview The Administration Manager will be responsible for the operation and day-to-day management of clerical and administrative services for Rehab, Perinatal, CHC & PICS Teams within the Mental Health & Learning Disability Division, under the supervision of the Business Support Manager.The role includes managing the WPAS/WCCIS Health Information Systems, providing and analyzing statistical information for the Health Board and other agencies as required. The post holder will implement changes to ensure the most effective management of the department, support colleagues in providing cover during absences, and maintain sound administrative processes to support clinical teams.Main DutiesAssist with operational management of administrative, secretarial, and clerical staff within the division.Devise and distribute weekly work rotas to meet workload demands and cover leave periods.Maintain effective communication across the division and ensure dissemination of necessary information.Promote good working relationships and develop rapport with staff.Attend management and specialty meetings, highlighting relevant administrative issues.Support the management team in administrative duties and ensure confidentiality and professionalism in dealing with patients, relatives, and visitors.Qualifications and ExperienceMeet all essential criteria as per the attached job description and person specification.Experience in administrative management within a healthcare setting is desirable.Skills and AttributesExcellent written and communication skills.Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.Ability to speak Welsh is desirable but not essential.Additional Information This is a full-time position with responsibilities including managing administrative staff, supporting clinical teams, and ensuring effective communication within the division.
