European Freight Specialist

Our client, a well-known Freight Forwarder is looking to hire a European Freight Specialist to join their growing team based in Redditch. The European Freight Specialist will be responsible for dealing with all operational matters from receiving the initial booking to the final delivery of the shipment.Responsibilities:Manage the Import/Export Road Freight Forwarding process from start to finish across the UK & Europe Maintain and develop strong relationships with clients, ensuring deadlines are metProvide high level of customer service with customers, agents and suppliersPrepare, process and follow up on quotesCompleting documentation as required including import / export customs documentationWork closely with suppliers, negotiating rates and arranging bookings Submitting invoices as required Requirements:Experience in Freight Forwarding, UK Transport, Import or Export is required Road Freight experience is an advantage Ability to build relationships and work as an integral part of the teamStrong communication, customer service and organisational skillsStrong decision-making and problem-solving skillsExcellent attention to detail
