We are now seeking a Process Development Manager to join our Technical Department at our Redditch site.This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a growing team, working at the cutting edge of formulation and manufacturing process development.The Role What Youll Be Doing:Reporting to the NPD & Technical Manager, youll lead the technical scale-up of products from lab to production, ensuring efficient, sustainable, and high-quality manufacturing processes.Key responsibilities include:Lead scale-up projects from laboratory development to full factory productionTranslate lab methods into Method of Manufacture (MOM) documents in partnership with chemistsConduct factory blending and filling trials, supporting first production runsTroubleshoot and optimise scale-up challenges across cross-functional teamsRecommend and validate new equipment, pilot rigs, and accessoriesDrive process improvement to reduce energy usage, waste, and batch timesSupport environmental and cost-saving initiatives aligned with DCS Groups sustainability goalsParticipate in stage-gate processes and feasibility assessments for new productsDeliver internal training on best practices and new processing techniquesWhat Were Looking For:Were looking for a technically skilled problem-solver who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced manufacturing environment.You will have:ONC/HNC or Degree in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, Chemical Engineering, or other STEM fieldHands-on experience in process scale-up (cosmetics or personal care preferred)Understanding of mixing, blending and filling equipmentKnowledge of GMP, HACCP, and HSE requirementsStrong communication and cross-functional collaboration skillsWhy DCS Group?Be part of a UK success story in manufacturing and distributionWork in a modern, supportive environment with cutting-edge technologyDrive real-world impact through sustainability and process innovationAccess to excellent employee benefits and training opportunities
