Job DescriptionRole: Transport Planner - Irish NetworkSalary: 26,000 - 30,000 (Negotiable)Location: Redditch, West MidlandsWork Pattern: Monday - Friday (08.00 - 17:00)Summary:We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Transport Planner to join our client's team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and optimising transportation routes to ensure timely, cost-effective deliveries.Key Duties:Plan, organise, and coordinate daily transport schedules and routesLiaise with drivers, suppliers, and customers to ensure smooth delivery operationsMonitor and track shipments, addressing any delays or issuesOptimise routing to improve efficiency and reduce costsEnsure compliance with safety and transport regulationsMaintain accurate records of shipments, schedules, and transport activitiesProvide regular updates to the operations team and managementRequirements:Previous experience in transport planning or logistics (preferred)Previous experience in Irish planning in particularStrong organisational and time-management skillsKnowledge of transport and logistics regulationsFamiliarity with route planning software and tracking systems (advantageous)Excellent communication and problem-solving skillsAbility to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environmentFlexible and adaptable to changing schedules and prioritiesThis exceptional opportunity will close as soon as the right candidate is secured, so dont delay and apply today!
