Procurement and Commercial LeadReading – Hybrid Working 6 Month ContractInside IR35Lorien is currently recruiting for a Procurement and Commercial Lead to join our client on a 6 month initial contract, inside IR35.In this role, you will lead a procurement and commercial team within a large IT change programme. The role holder will lead a team of procurement and commercial professionals, managing a complex supplier ecosystem, to ensure the programme delivers on time and to budget.What you will do in this role is:Put in place procurement and commercial contracting strategies and governance to manage the supplier ecosystemLead the commercial engagement with up to 10 key supply chain partnersDemonstrate we are receiving value for money from the supply chainThe skills required in order to be successful in the position:Have lead the procurement activity within a large IT change programmeAre a self starter, well organised and think several steps aheadCan deploy optimum contracting approaches based on requirements and where there are multiple dependenciesLead SRM engagements and implement supplier scorecardsCan develop procurement strategiesShould this position be of interest please submit your CV and I will be in contact as required.
