Health and Safety Officer – Slough | Data Centre Project£50,000-£55,000 + Package (travel, bonus, pension and more!)Open to contract role- day rate A leading main contractor is seeking a Health and Safety Officer to join their team on a high-profile data centre development in Slough. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a technically complex project with a well-established contractor known for delivering excellence across large-scale schemes.Key Responsibilities:Implement and monitor site-specific health and safety policies and proceduresConduct regular site inspections and audits, ensuring compliance with current legislation and company standardsDeliver toolbox talks, inductions, and safety briefings to site personnel and subcontractorsAssist with accident/incident investigations and ensure follow-up actions are completedMaintain accurate records including risk assessments, method statements (RAMS), and safety documentationLiaise with the site team and project stakeholders to promote a proactive health and safety cultureRequirements:Relevant Health and Safety qualification (e.g. NEBOSH Construction Certificate or equivalent)2-3+ years' experience in a similar role within the construction industryStrong knowledge of UK health and safety legislation and best practicesExcellent communication and organisational skillsExperience on large-scale or mission-critical projects (e.g. data centres, pharma, etc.) is an advantageWhat’s on offer:Long-term opportunity on a major data centre projectCompetitive salary and packageSupportive and professional site teamStrong pipeline of future projectsTo register your interest, please apply online or contact Lukciya at ICDS Recruitment.
