Site Manager – Hotel Project (Reading)We’re recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to take the lead on a major hotel build in Reading. This role will focus on managing the external packages – groundworks, structural steel, façades, windows, and roofing – ensuring the project runs smoothly from the ground up.The project is scheduled to start on 1st September 2025, and we’re open to speaking with both permanent and contract candidates.The RoleTake full responsibility for day-to-day site operations and programme deliveryLead and oversee external works: groundworks, steel frame, façade, windows, and roofingCoordinate and manage subcontractors, ensuring all work meets safety, quality, and programme requirementsCollaborate closely with the Project Manager and wider delivery teamWhat You’ll NeedProven experience as a Site Manager on large-scale commercial or hotel buildsStrong technical knowledge of structural steel and external envelope packagesValid SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certificationsA proactive, hands-on approach with strong leadership and problem-solving skillsThe ProjectApprox. 12-month build programmeCompetitive salary + package (or day rate for contract)Opportunity to work on future projects with a contractor known for its growing pipeline in hotel and commercial developmentsIf you’re a results-driven Site Manager with a background in delivering high-quality external works, we’d love to hear from you.
