Our client, a global leader in their field, is looking for a lawyer who specialises in compliance related matters to join their team on a permanent basis.The organisation is at an exciting juncture in their growth story and as a result, they are looking for a compliance specialist to support them on their journey.The role reports into the Chief Compliance Officer who is hugely inspirational, and they are looking for someone to work in partnership with them – helping to build out best in class compliance teams both in the UK and internationally.Leading the business-facing and strategic part of the Compliance function the role will include:Working closely with the business to ensure that business activities are compliant with company policies, laws and regulationsHaving strategic oversight, regulatory interpretation and stakeholder engagement to anticipate compliance risks and help shape decision-makingHelping to lead and build key compliance programmes for example, policy development, third party due diligence programmes as well as sanctions programmesProject manage global and strategic transformational projects to uplift compliance of key laws and regulationsInterfacing with senior stakeholders, demonstrating gravitas, discretion, and a high degree of professional integrityTo be considered for the role you should:Be a qualified SolicitorHave extensive stakeholder management experienceBe experienced in building compliance programmesHave exceptional project management skills and be adept at leading large-scale transformation initiativesBe comfortable being both operational and strategic, with the ability to shape direction and deliver outcomesBe based in the UKThis is a truly unique opportunity to work with one of the most ambitious organisations during their “build- up” phase, where you be central to the success of their growth plans.If this opportunity sounds of potential interest, then please do send your CV to Alexia -
