Therapy Teaching Assistant

Therapy Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) We are seeking an experienced and motivated Therapy HLTA to join a specialist team supporting children and young people with a range of physical, functional, and sensory needs. - Hours: Term time only, 35 hours per week, 8:45AM to 4:30PM Mondays and Tuesdays, 8:45am - 4:15PM Wednesdays and Thursdays, 8:45AM - 3:45PM Fridays - Salary: £25,098 plus £1,268 SEN allowance - Benefits: Free on-site parking, Healthcare scheme, Cycle to work scheme, On-site café, Pension and life assurance, Staff awards, Gym, food, entertainment, shopping and holiday discounts, Christmas party and social events As the Therapy HLTA you will be responsible for: - Deliver and support therapy programmes under the guidance of therapists. - Work closely with teachers, support staff, and external professionals to embed therapeutic approaches in the classroom. - Provide coaching and role-modelling for staff to ensure consistent use of therapy strategies and assistive technology. - Help coordinate and maintain specialist equipment to support students' independence and wellbeing. - Lead small group and individual interventions to help students achieve their goals. The successful Evening Cleaner will have the following related skills / experience: - Has significant experience as a HLTA or in leading therapeutic/educational interventions. - Understands child development and SEND. - Can work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team. - Has excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to coach and support others.
