Design Project Manager

Utopian Professional Recruitment are delighted to be working in partnership with an award winning Scottish based company who are looking to recruit a Design Project Manager on a full time, permanent basis.Working as part of a highly successful business, our client is seeking a self motivated, driven and organised individual to manage and coordinate the pre-development phase of taking developments through planning and warrant to live operation. The candidate requires to work to deadlines with accuracy and attention to detail and a pro-active approach to ensure Developments are fully prepared for site start. Your key responsibilities will include:Management of Pre-Development DeliveryCoordination of key stakeholders internally and externally to meet key project deadlinesManage key consultants (engineers, architects, etc) to obtain consents/warrants/purified conditions in a timely and cost effective mannerSupport to the commercial, construction and sales and marketing teamAssist with the production of all site project information and schedules and act as the Design Lead for THLThe ideal candidate will have experience of working in the house building industry and a strong understanding of the planning and warrant processEngineering experience is also welcomedTo be considered for this opportunity, we are looking for:Be educated to SCQF Level 7 or have relevant knowledge and experienceHave experience of working in the house building industryHave a strong understanding of the planning and warrant processA full UK driving license is a requirementBenefitsHours of Work – Monday to Friday 8.30-5pm (37.5hrs per week)Salary – will be dependent on experienceThis role will be office based with some travel to sitesGenerous holiday allowance with Xmas & NY office closurePensionCar Allowance, which will be discussed at time of applicationPrivate Health CareFree Gym Membership!Next StepsFor further information, please apply by emailing your CV to Utopian Recruitment ASAP.
