Location: Hybrid Winnersh (RG41) | 2 days on-site (Monday & Tuesday)All potential applicants are encouraged to scroll through and read the complete job description before applying.Salary: 90,000 100,000 per annumJob Type: Full-time, PermanentWe are currently partnering with a well-established and growing law firm to recruit an experienced Supervising Family Law Solicitor with Panel Guardianship to join their collaborative and high-performing team.This is a senior opportunity suited to a qualified solicitor with strong legal aid experience, who is confident managing complex family matters while also supervising and mentoring junior team members.?? The RoleYou will be responsible for managing a varied caseload of family law matters while providing supervision and guidance to junior staff.Key responsibilities include:Managing a caseload including non-molestation orders, Child Arrangements Orders, divorce, and private children matters from instruction through to completionRepresenting parents, grandparents, and other family members in care and supervision proceedingsPreparing legal documentation including court applications, witness statements, bundles, and briefs to counselAdvising clients on legal matters and progressing cases through the court systemAttending client conferences and working closely with counsel and external professionalsHandling legal aid applications via CCMS and ensuring complianceSupervising and mentoring paralegals and administrative staffMeeting billing targets and contributing to overall team performanceManaging files efficiently using a case management system? Essential Skills & ExperienceQualified Solicitor (England & Wales) with relevant supervisory accreditationPanel Guardianship/Representation (essential)Accredited by The Law Society (Family Law and/or Children Law Accreditation)Strong experience working with legal aid (CCMS), within a private practice environmentProven experience supervising or mentoring junior team membersExcellent organisation skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlinesStrong drafting, communication, and client care skillsConfident advising courts on outcomes in children matters, including arranging expert assessmentsComfortable using IT systems and case management software? Additional InformationWorking hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am 5:30pmHybrid working model (2 days in the office)Occasional travel to other office locations (e.g. xjdpvnf Watford) may be required??
