This is a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role in driving safety culture, ensuring compliance, and shaping best practice across a busy production environment.As a specialist recruitment agency partnering with this organisation, we are looking for a proactive, confident professional who can operate both strategically and hands-on on the shop floor.The RoleReporting into senior management, you will be responsible for leading all health and safety activities across the site, ensuring full compliance with UK legislation and industry standards.Key responsibilities include:Leading and promoting a positive health 'safety culture across the manufacturing facilityEnsuring compliance with HSE regulations and maintaining ISO standards where applicableConducting risk assessments, audits, and accident investigationsDeveloping and delivering health 'safety training across all levelsReviewing and updating policies and proceduresActing as the main point of contact for regulatory bodies and external auditorsProviding regular performance reports to senior leadershipThe CandidateWe are looking for:Proven experience in a Health & Safety role within a manufacturing or industrial environmentNEBOSH General Certificate (Diploma desirable)Strong knowledge of UK health 'safety legislationExperience conducting internal audits and leading investigationsExcellent communication skills with the ability to influence at all levelsA proactive, solutions-focused approachWhats On OfferSalary between 45,000 50,000 depending on experience8% company pension contribution32 days holiday (including bank holidays)Opportunity to shape and lead health 'safety strategyStable, growing manufacturing business
