Location: Reading Berkshire Role: Family Support Worker Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent Expected hours: 36 hours per week Pay: 25,500.00-26,900.00 per year (13 per hour - 14 per hour) Work: In-person Flourishing Families is our Residential Family Assessment Unit based in Reading , Berkshire and we are looking for enthusiastic and committed people who are reliable and able to offer emotional and practical support to our families (Parents/Carers and children up to 4 years old). We are currently recruiting newly qualified social workers for our residential family unit and supported living service and our community social work service, based in different areas of the UK (London + surrounding areas) completing family time, social work stat visits as well as parenting work. You will initially start as a support worker with opportunity to join our social work AYSE programme when we have capacity to take on AYSEs. You will work alongside our very experienced social workers learning various social work skills including social work parenting assessments and various social work professional skills. Note: Flexibility is a essential, there are varied shifts due to the nature of the service. Driving is not essential however working towards having a licence would be beneficial. TPBN1_UKTJ
