Quality Inspector

Job Title: Quality Inspector Location: Reading Pay: 14.42 Hours: 7am-3:30pm Job Type: Contract Role Overview of the Quality Inspector You will be responsible for inspecting goods-in and ensuring all incoming components match their mechanical drawings and meet required standards. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong mechanical inspection experience and confidence using both precision measuring tools and computer systems. Key Responsibilities of the Quality Inspector Inspect incoming goods against mechanical drawings and specifications Use precision measuring equipment such as verniers and callipers Verify tolerances and apply GD&T principles Record inspection data accurately using computer systems Support the wider quality team and escalate any non-conformances Essential Skills & Experience Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings Proficient in using verniers and callipers Strong understanding of GD&T and tolerances Computer literate with the confidence to input and manage inspection data Previous experience in a quality inspection or similar engineering environment Desirable Skills Experience using CMM Experience with shadow graph inspection To apply or learn more, please contact Alessandra at Orion Electrotech .
