Electrical QC Inspector

Job DescriptionBureau Veritas are excited to say that we have multiple long-term opportunities for Electrical Inspectors to join us on a prestigious UK Defence project based near Reading, UK.These roles are located at a highly secure working site and will require Security Clearance and therefore successful candidates must be a British Born UK passport holder.Required Skills and Qualifications:Site-based, carrying out detailed Electrical Safety checks & inspections and delivering inspection reports.Attending meetings or reviewing paperwork, eg. inspection test plans or lifetime quality recordsC&G Part 1, 2 & 3 electrical installation qualification OR HND / HNC.C&G 2391/2392 Inspection and Testing certificate and 17th/18th Edition regs required.Minimum 10yrs relevant Electrical industry experience, ideally 5 of which have involved testing and inspecting electrical installations / ATEX inspectionsHeld / currently hold SC clearance or eligible for SC clearance (must have been residing & working in the UK for the last 5years)Min 5yrs working knowledge of UK requirements for Electrical Inspection within the nuclear industry or transferable experience from another high hazard industry including Oil & Gas. Heavy Industry, Construction, Renewables sectors.
