We are looking for a hands-on leader with a strong operational background for this 50-bedroom Holiday Inn in Reading West, RG7 5HT.Teamwork and flexibility are essential in this hotel, where the close-knit team seamlessly switch between warm welcomes, cold drinks, and everything in between.With a solid understanding of hotel operations, you will lead from the front, inspiring and supporting your team to deliver outstanding experiences at every stage of the guest journey.This role reports to the Area General Manager.About the roleYou are responsible for overseeing the smooth running of day-to-day operations in the hotel and managing ongoing profitability. Guiding and nurturing your team, you ensure all revenue, guest satisfaction, and brand targets are met.Responsibilities include:Managing budgets and controlling expenditureRecruiting, training, and managing hotel employeesEnsuring compliance with health, safety, and licensing laws, as well as maintaining property and amenitiesContinuously improving business operations through standard procedures, maximising revenue, and monitoring employee performanceFull details will be discussed with shortlisted candidates.
