Job Description Accounts Senior - Chartered Accountancy Practice - 40,000 to 50,000 per annum base salaryLocation - ReadingQualification - ACCA or ACA Qualified ideally, finalist will be consideredAbout the BusinessMy client is a long-standing Accountancy Practice based in Reading with a heritage spanning over 100 years. This client services over 750 clients across Thames Valley and London which include small to medium sized businesses across all industry sectors. This role will report into a Senior Accounts Manager and will work as part of a business led by 4x Partners.This role will be responsible for preparing statutory accounts and corporation tax returns for a client portfolio of between 70 to 100 small to mid-size clients. Managing client communications, preparing the accounts with your manager reviewing and signing off.Key DutiesAccounts PreparationPrepare yearend accounts from trial balance through to final financial statements.Produce working papers and supporting schedules.Draft corporation tax computations.Ensure all work complies with UK GAAP and relevant regulatory requirements.Client ManagementAct as a key point of contact for a varied client base.Build longterm relationships through regular communication and advisory support.Manage workflow and ensure deadlines are met across client assignments.What we are looking for:Minimum of 3 years accountancy practice experienceACA or ACCA Qualified or finalistExperience preparing statutory accounts under UK GAAPExperience preparing corporation tax returnsWhat is on offer:40,000 to 50,000 base salary4 days in office, 1 day working from home weeklyEasily accessible via car and public transport routes12-month salary reviewAnnual BonusLots of opportunities to progress and developTo apply for the Accounts Senior vacancy, please click on the apply now button and your CV will be sent directly to the responsible recruiter.
