Job DescriptionJob Title: Senior Garment TechnologistLocation: Hybrid part office-based, part remote (flexible working arrangements)Employment Type: Full-timeAbout the Role:We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Senior Garment Technologist to join us as a one-person team, fully responsible for managing all aspects of garment technology within the business. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives on independence, takes pride in high standards, and can work proactively with our design and production teams to deliver quality products.Key Responsibilities:Take full ownership of the garment technology function you will be the sole Garment Technologist in the company.Develop and maintain detailed size specifications, garment construction standards, and quality requirements.Work closely with design and production teams to ensure all products meet fit, quality, and compliance standards.Organise and run fit sessions independently, providing clear technical feedback.Approve all samples, check measurements, and ensure products meet agreed specifications before production.Resolve any technical issues during development and production, working directly with suppliers.Maintain accurate technical documentation and manage all technical files and processes.Continually seek ways to improve product quality, fit, and reduce returns.Key Requirements:Extensive experience in a Garment Technologist role, ideally at senior or lead level.Strong technical knowledge of garment construction, pattern cutting, grading, and manufacturing processes.Able to work independently with confidence and efficiency this is a stand-alone role.Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.Clear communicator, able to liaise effectively with the teams in the UK and in China.What We Offer:A full-time position with flexible hybrid working arrangements.Complete ownership and autonomy of the garment technology function.A collaborative and supportive team culture.Competitive salary (depending on experience).If youre an experienced Senior Garment Technologist ready to run your own department independently, wed love to hear from you.
