Environmental, Health & Safety Manager Location: RamsgatePosition type: Full time/PermanentWe’re looking for an experienced EHS Manager to join the team in Ramsgate. This is a hands-on role where you’ll take the lead on all aspects of environment, health and safety across the site.What you’ll be doing:Make sure we’re fully compliant with UK HSE legislation and environmental regsKeep up to date with ISO standards and manage audits and inspectionsCarry out risk assessments, hazard analyses and implement control measuresLead incident investigations and follow up on corrective actionsDevelop and update EHS policies and procedures, making sure everyone understands themDeliver or organise EHS training for staff and contractors, plus run toolbox talks and inductionsTrack and report EHS performance, record incidents and use data to drive improvementsCarry out site inspections and safety audits, working closely with the engineering team to design for safety and sustainabilityOversee waste disposal, pollution control, resource conservation and carbon footprint reductionManage health surveillance, monitor for early signs of work-related ill health and keep COSHH up to dateWhat we’re looking for:Solid EHS management experience, ideally in manufacturing, engineering or constructionStrong knowledge of UK health, safety and environmental legislationComfortable managing audits and working with ISO standardsNEBOSH Diploma or similar qualificationConfident communicator who can build good working relationships across all levels New Appointments Group, Expertly Matching Employers and Jobseekers since 1975.Before submitting your CV, please take a moment to check the layout, spelling, and grammar.
