We are excited to be looking for a full-time Dental Nurse to join our team at Bellstane Dental Care! As part of this role, 2 days per week will be dedicated to supporting the reception (full training provided).Want to make an application Make sure your CV is up to date, then read the following job specs carefully before applying.Bellstane Dental Care is a friendly, family-orientated practice conveniently situated in the very picturesque townof The Loan, South Queensferry. Our team at Bellstane Dental Care welcome new and existing private and NHS patients with the aim of providing the highest standards of care and treatment in a relaxed, professional environment.We have 3 associates and are a VT training practice.The practice is also a Centre of Excellence and has been fully refurbished along with 2 new digital scanners.Your RoleYou will be responsible for providing chair side support in all day-to-day activities within the practice and surgeries. You will also be required to providereception cover when necessary.You will play an important role in a ensuring the delivery of excellent patient care while complying with all clinical and health & safety guidance. Developed and progression are encouraged. Use of Exact (SOE) beneficial but not essential, training will be provided.Other duties include:Creating a welcoming environment for patients that sets them at ease from the outsetMaximising the use of the internal system (Software of Excellence) to ensure accurate patient records are maintainedEnsuring the surgery is set up appropriately for each session throughout the day to maximise the efficiency of the practice and surgery utilisationAnticipating the requirements of the clinician and patient in advance of their session and ensure necessary lab work and equipment is in placeMonitoring surgery stocks to ensure that appropriate stock levels are maintainedUndertaking reception duties when required including answering the telephone, making appointments and collecting patient chargesAbout YouQualified candidates must be GDC registeredMust have experience working in Private / NHS practicesWilling to demonstrate the highest levels of patient careThe ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a teamEnthusiastic, with an appetite to learn and develop new skillsBenefitsWe know that in order to attract and retain the best talent, we must always look at ways in which we can keep our colleagues smiling.
