You will play a central role in the development and enhancement of appraisal service products, ensuring we're meeting the needs of our customers and the wider business.As a people-focused leader, you will manage and inspire a team of managers and appraisers, guiding them to meet and exceed KPIs while maintaining a healthy balance between employee wellbeing, customer satisfaction and appraisal performance. You will mentor your team to create a high-performing, engaged and a customer-centric operational culture.Willingness to travel as required, including occasional overnight stays.Day-to-day dutiesTake full ownership of appraisal operations and branch service standards, ensuring best-in-class performance across all areas.Oversee the design and implementation of efficient processes and operating standards aligned to business strategy.Mentor, motivate, and develop your team to drive productivity, engagement, and a high-performance culture.Collaborate with the executive team to help shape business strategy and future operating models.Ensure all operations comply with NAMA.Evaluate operational risk and appraisal quality programmes.Essential skillsStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusted relationships at all levels, including during periods of high pressureProven experience in vehicle appraisal and field-based operational environmentsHighly proactive with strong planning, organisational, and decision-making skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearlyCollaborative team player who supports and empowers othersCalm and effective under pressure, with a consistent focus on quality in all outputsExperienced people manager with a track record of motivating, coaching, and developing high-performing teamsStrong business acumen with the ability to align operational activity to broader commercial objectivesOur CultureArnold Clark is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace.
