You will receive structured training, full exam support, and ongoing mentoring to support your progression towards becoming a fully competent paraplanner.Working closely with Advisers and the Technical Team Leader, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of high-quality, compliant financial planning advice while building the technical skills required of a successful paraplanner.Benefits Package4% Employer Pension Contribution (salary sacrifice available)28 Days Annual Leave plus Bank HolidaysOption to Purchase up to 5 Additional Days LeaveGroup Life Cover (4x Salary)Rolling Sick Pay SchemeFull Exam & Training SupportHybrid Working ArrangementClear Career Development Pathway towards a Paraplanner roleRole PurposeAs part of the Paraplanning team, you will:Assist in preparing accurate, compliant, and professional suitability reportsConduct detailed research across pensions, investments, protection, and wider financial planning solutionsSupport advisers with technical analysis and case preparationEnsure all work aligns with regulatory requirements and internal proceduresMaintain accurate and up-to-date client recordsLiaise with providers and internal departments as requiredDevelop a thorough understanding of advice processes and client journeysProgress technical knowledge and competency under the supervision of the Technical Team LeaderThis position offers structured development with a clear pathway to becoming a confident and technically capable paraplanner.About YouEssential Experience & SkillsMinimum 3 years continuous experience within a Financial Planning firmExposure to paraplanner responsibilities or technical support workCurrently working towards the Regulated Diploma in Financial Planning (Level 4)Ideally 12 CII R0 exams already achievedGood understanding of the UK financial regulatory frameworkStrong written and verbal communication skillsProficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPointExcellent attention to detailStrong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectivelyA collaborative and professional approachComfortable working in a fast-paced environmentOpen to feedback and committed to developing into a successful paraplannerDesirableRegulated Diploma in Financial Planning (Level 4)Strong analytical and technical thinking skillsAbility to assess information from multiple perspectivesConfidence handling detailed and technical informationCareer DevelopmentThis role offers genuine long-term progression within a supportive and technically strong environment.
