First-Rate Maintenance (FRM) are experts in property maintenance and refurbishments across Tyneside and Newcastle.Interested in learning more about this job Scroll down and find out what skills, experience and educational qualifications are needed.FRM was established in February 2020 initially to take on the property maintenance for our sister company, Seekers Property Services - an independent lettings agent with a portfolio in excess of 350 properties - and we now have an established customer base which includes other lettings agents and private customers for which we carry out regular maintenance up to full refurbishments and beyond.We are looking for a qualified Joiner to join our growing team. We are looking for people who are experienced in their field and who genuinely take a pride in their work.We offer a competitive salary and inclusion in the company bonus scheme.Our Joiner must have a full UK driving license and be comfortable using computers/tablets which will be relied on to manage job reports. Full training on our computer software will be provided.As a Joiner, your responsibilities will include:Perform first fix carpentry tasks, including framing and structural workExecute second fix carpentry, including fitting doors, windows, and skirting boardsInstall repair and maintain fire doors in compliance with safety regulationsMeasure and cut materials to precise specificationsEnsure all work adheres to industry standards and safety guidelinesTroubleshoot and resolve carpentry related issues on-siteMaintain tools and equipment in good working conditionAssist junior and apprentice team members in developing their skillsAssist the team in general maintenance tasks as requiredUse our time tracking and diary management app to update job progress, including taking detailed notes and pictures as required.Adhere to your booked jobs by reviewing your diary and driving as required to the next locationDrive a company vehicle as required to attend your jobs across the northeast.Always adhere strictly to our required standards of quality and health and safety.Engage clients in a professional and polite manner, and gather positive feedback reviewsAs a Joiner you will require the following Qualifications/Licenses:Driving Licence (required)Level 3 NVQ in joinery or equivalentHours of work: 40 hours per week to be carried out between 8.30am - 5pm Monday - Friday.TOIL and overtime available to suit the needs of the business.We operate an out of hours on call rota, with each operative required to be on call two weeks per year.Benefits:Bonus schemeStarting salary commensurate with experienceCompany van with optional personal useProgressive and supportive company for professional developmentTOIL and Overtime available25 days holiday plus bank holidaysIf you are an ambitious Joiner and want to join a growing and progressive team, we would love to hear from you, please send your CV and covering letter.TPBN1_UKTJ
