We are working with a leading regional law firm to recruit a Business Development Executive for their Preston office. Working in a fast-paced, client focused environment, youll play a key role in driving growth and supporting strategic initiatives. The Responsibilities: Support strategic business development plans for the Commercial Division and understand all department services. Research new targets and opportunities to drive growth and support winning new clients. Create proposals and capability materials to win and retain clients, and target events/leads to generate opportunities. Strengthen referrer and strategic partner relationships, support cross-selling, and revive dormant clients. Plan and support business development events and key client programmes, monitoring feedback and client reviews. Track and report business development activity, analyse competitors, and contribute to Commercial Division BD meetings. The Candidate: Business-focused academic background (Business Management/Business Studies degree or similar), strong commercial awareness, and alignment with firm values. Proven analytical, research, communication and relationship-building skills, with strong attention to detail, IT capability and ability to manage multiple priorities. Knowledge of marketing/BD best practice (proposals, client engagement, events), with desirable experience in professional services BD, CRM use and strategic plan alignment. Please note : Due to the specific sectors we work in, only candidates with valid work experience in a Law Firm, Accountancy Firm, Management Consultancy, Property/Construction Firm, Financial Services Firm or a high profile relevant Association or Agency will be considered.
