HGV Technician

We're on the lookout for an experienced HGV Technician for a client in the Bamber Bridge area. The role is hands-on, varied, and no two days are the same. You'll be working on both vehicles and trailers, keeping our fleet in top condition.What you'll be doing:Servicing and repairing our in-house vehiclesSorting out defects and carrying out diagnosticsFitting kit such as Web-fleet systems, cameras, and invertersTrailer servicing, MOT prep, and damage repairsA mix of other jobs including fabrication, electrics, bodywork, road tankers, and even the odd vintage vehicleAbout the workshop:3 bays, including one pitSupportive, down-to-earth team where everyone mucks inShifts & hours:Two shifts, rotating weekly:Week 1: 07:00 - 17:00Week 2: 08:00 - 18:00Every other Saturday morning if needed (not often)Requirements: Proven experience in servicing and repairing HGV's & trailers Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills Knowledge of vehicle systems and components Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent attention to detail and time management skillsPay:18.44 per hour for the first 48 hours24.50 overtime rate32.60 premium rate after 12:30pm on Saturdays (rarely needed)JBRP1_UKTJ
