HGV Class 1 Driver

HGV Drivers - Class 1 14.00 - 18.00 per hour Days 6-7am Start times in the Preston area Start Date: Immediate or ASAP We are looking for 6 Class 1 HGV drivers to start immediately for our client based in Preston and 5 Class 1 Drivers for our client based in Leyland. As a HGV Driver you must : - Have a C+E driving License - Have a CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card - Have less than 8 points on your licence - Be keen to look after your vehicle. Driver responsibilities include: - Trunking from depot to depot, some pick ups and collections and the delivery of goods to commercial warehouses. - Daily walk round and Vehicle checks. Reporting existing damage and defects. - Correct use of Tachograph and drivers hours The successful HGV Drivers can expect: MondayFriday: 14.00 PAYE Per Hour. Weekend enhancements available Weekly Pay, paid on time every time. 8hr minimum guaranteed pay per day Subsidised ongoing CPC training.
