Job Description Role: Private Client Legal AssistantSalary: Up to 29,000 per annumLocation: Preston office, full-time (Monday to Friday, 35 hrs per week)A well-established regional law firm is looking for a Probate and Conveyancing Legal Assistant to support their Private Client Solicitor, along with providing a measure of support to the Conveyancing team. This is an opportunity to support fee earners, assist clients, and contribute to a busy, paperless office while developing your career in probate and conveyancing.Responsibilities include:Assisting fee earners with daily tasksManaging probate files, including LPAs and registrationsFiling, scanning, and photocopying, maintaining paperless filesChasing third parties such as utility companies by telephoneOpening files and completing client due diligenceProviding general administration support for the Probate departmentTelephone contact with clients, maintaining a professional mannerDatabase work and document organisationSupporting team members in day-to-day operationsWhat we need from you:Minimum of 12 months experience in Wills and Probate at Legal Assistant levelConveyancing experience is desirable but not essentialExcellent typing, word processing, and IT skillsStrong organisational skills with high attention to detailProfessional communication skills and confident telephone mannerAbility to work collaboratively in a teamMotivation, reliability, and a friendly, confident approachThe perks:35 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays)Ongoing training, guidance, and team supportExcellent work life balanceFriendly, collaborative working environmentExposure to both Probate and Conveyancing workOpportunity to work in a modern, paperless officeReady to apply?Hit the apply button or reach out to Jack Lloyd directly at [email protected]
