Credit Controller | Preston | 26,650 | Full-Time Are you an experienced Credit Controller who enjoys building relationships as much as collecting cash? A well-established and growing business in Preston is looking to strengthen its finance team with the addition of a confident and proactive Credit Controller. This is a great opportunity to join a fast-paced environment where youll have real ownership of your ledger and play a key role in supporting cashflow across the business. The Role Managing your own section of the sales ledger Chasing outstanding debt via phone, email and written communication Investigating and resolving account queries Allocating receipts and reconciling accounts Monitoring credit limits and managing credit hold accounts Producing statements and customer communications Supporting credit reviews and making recommendations Taking card payments and maintaining accurate records Working closely with internal teams including sales What Theyre Looking For Minimum 1 years experience in a credit control role Confident communicator with a strong telephone manner Able to work in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and organisational skills Proactive approach to cash collection and problem solving Team player with a customer-focused mindset Nice to Have Experience with Excel and finance systems (e.g. Dynamics) The Opportunity Stable and well-established business Supportive team environment Varied role with real responsibility Opportunity to make an impact and improve processes 26,650 On-site parking Company pension Monday to Friday Based in Preston (in-person role) Interviews to be conducted week commencing 13th April so get your application in right away!
