Credit Controller

Our client, based in Preston, is currently recruiting for an experienced Credit Controller to join their busy and expanding team. Duties include: Chasing overdue accounts via telephone, email and letter Allocating payments and reconciling customer accounts Raising credit notes and reinvoicing where necessary Negotiating payment terms and putting customers on stop when needed Credit checking customers and working with the manger to set customer credit limits Dealing with and resolving customer queries to ensure prompt payments Any other duties to ensure a clean ledger You must be a strong and confident communicator especially on the phone.You will be organised and be able to work to deadlines. In return you will receive a competitive salary, 25 days holidays plus bank holidays, pension, free onsite parking and a choice to work 8-4 or 9-5.
