What does the Disability Assessor role involve? The Disability Assessor role will involve you carrying out 3 to 4 client assessments per day.If you are considering sending an application, make sure to hit the apply button below after reading through the entire description.A typical day will see you carry out telephone, video or face-to-face assessments to understand how a persons disability or health condition affects their daily life.Youll listen to their experiences, ask questions and use your insights to produce a factual report to help the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) determine their eligibility for benefits.Thats the good news; the DWP make the final decision, you dont.Your role is to gather information and produce the report.This is an exceptional opportunity to work with a well-established, people focussed organisation.Youll receive outstanding training and support to ensure you are the best you can be in your new role! What is on offer as a Disability Assessor?- Excellent starting salary at 39,500pa- Monday to Friday working hours- Full time and part time available (3, 4 or 5 days per week available)- Torquay based when working on site- Annual leave bank holidays the ability to buy or sell 10 more days- Pension scheme- NMC or HCPC fees paid for and CPD revalidation support provided What we look for; An NMC registered nurse (RGN, RMN or RNLD) or HCPC qualified Physiotherapist, Paramedic or Occupational Therapist with 1 years or more broad post-registration experience Someone whos proactive and keen to learn Excellent oral and written communication skills Competent IT and computer skills Comfortable working with a diverse range of conditions, including mental health Please click apply if you are open to hearing more!
