Metal polishers Job RoleAn opportunity has arisen with our client based near Sandy who are looking for a metal polisher to join their skilled and knowledgeable team working on a dayshift. This is essentially a hands-on role, working within a small team and is an excellent opportunity to work and learn with a well-respected market leading engineering company. Job ResponsibilitiesManual polishing of components.Ensuring quality has been reached within all areas of productionFettling, Grinding, DeburringPolishing out weld seamsLiaise with quality / production to raise any material issuesClean and maintain work area and equipment Person SpecificationExperience of working in a similar manufacturing environmentConfident in working with pliable materialKnowledge of Sanders, Air Saws, Electrical Hand Grinders and hand toolsAttention to detailGood team player; able to communicate well with othersUnderstanding of different metal types. Hours of Work and Pay 39 Hours per weekUp to 15/hour DOEOvertime at time and a halfOwn transport required
