Hiring: Configuration & Data Management SpecialistContract: 12 monthsLocation: Portsmouth (Onsite)Our client is seeking an experienced Configuration & Data Management (CADM) Specialist to join their team, supporting projects, products, and services throughout their lifecycle. In this role, you will ensure company guidelines and best practices in Configuration Management (CM) are adhered to, while acting as the first line of support and training for Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools and Configuration Management Databases (CMDB).Key Responsibilities:Perform CM activities including identification, change control, status accounting, and audits.Record, maintain, and distribute controlled data in the CMDB.Support internal and external stakeholders with CM queries and compliance requirements.Manage project CADM activities, produce CM plans, and facilitate change control boards.Maintain quality, security, and structure of CMDB records.Propose and implement process and tool improvements.Skills & Experience:Proficient in MS Office and data management tools.Strong knowledge of CM principles and PLM systems (e.g., Windchill, Teamcenter).Excellent organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills.Degree/HNC/NVQ Level 5 or equivalent; CMII qualification desirable.Minimum 5 years’ CM experience in a technical/data management environment.SC clearance eligibility required; knowledge of ITAR regulations an advantage.If you're interested we’d love to connect, please feel free to send your most recent CV to my email at KumaranM@.
