Job Description We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing uPVC and aluminium window and door manufacturer based in the Portsmouth area. Due to continued expansion, they are looking to appoint an experienced Aluminium Estimator / Sales Executive to join their residential and commercial sales team.This is an excellent opportunity for someone with fenestration estimating experience who is looking to progress their career within a stable, forward-thinking business operating across both trade and commercial markets.The successful candidate will work closely with the Sales Manager to produce accurate quotations and manage enquiries for small to large residential and commercial aluminium glazing projects.Main responsibilitiesProducing quotations and managing tenders for aluminium window and door fabricationBuilding cost estimates using window/door construction design software (essential)Reviewing tender and enquiry documentationReading and interpreting technical drawings and specificationsLiaising with installers, developers, architects and contractorsCommunicating with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholdersFinalising pricing and submitting quotationsSupporting trade customers when requiredCarrying out general administrative duties related to sales and estimatingSkills and knowledgePrevious experience in a fenestration estimating role (commercial or residential)Hands-on experience using window or door construction design/estimating software (essential)Strong understanding of aluminium glazing and door systemsAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and project specificationsHighly organised, with the ability to manage a high volume of enquiriesStrong IT skills and excellent attention to detailConfident communicator, comfortable working with trade and professional clientsKnowledge of the wider fenestration or building envelope market is desirableExperience dealing with architects, developers and commercial installers would be an advantageWhat's on OfferCompetitive salary based on experience up to 35KCommission structurePermanent RoleMonday to Friday 8.00am - 4.30pm28 days holiday including bank holidaysLong-term career development within a growing businessFriendly, professional working environmentJBRP1_UKTJ
