Job Description Job Title: Subcontractor Coordinator Location: HM Naval Base, Portsmouth (HMNBP)Service Area: Service DeliveryHours of Work: 37 Per weekSalary: 35,000 - 37,000What Youll be doing as a Subcontractor Coordinator: Youll manage planned and reactive subcontracted maintenance, including overseeing contractors on site and reviewing their RAMS and safe systems of work. Handle daily administration and ensure effective delivery of work by both the team and sub-contractors. Ensure the requirements are met by our vendors, youll be enforcing the use of our company processes, ensuring compliance and statutory requirements are adhered to. Management of the delivery of all works to the agreed customer completion dates, whilst ensuring KPIs and SLAs achievement. Proactively liaise and support Supply Chain and Commercial teams to assist the negotiation of terms and costings with suppliers for smaller works ensuring value for money is being demonstrated. About you:Working knowledge and experiences of sub-contractor management.SMSTS (Site Manager Safety Training Course) Certification would be highly advantageous, along with IOSH Managing Safely.Youll be a strong communicator who stays calm under pressureBe self-motivated, focusing on delivering great operational results, and always looking for ways to improve on processes whilst searching for cost efficiency.
