Senior Quantity Surveyor We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced commercial professional to join an established main contractor on an upcoming project in Portsmouth. The business is an industry-leading tier 1 main contractor with a presence across the South and projects across the education, MOJ, commercial, student accommodation and data centres. They have recently secured a 80mil new build project in Portsmouth, and are now looking for an experienced commercial lead. About the role of Senior Quantity Surveyor: As Senor Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing a project from pre-construction through to final account, with the assistance of a team of Surveyors. You will report into the Commercial Manager. Key responsibilities as Senior Quantity Surveyor: Work alongside the pre-construction team through 2nd stage tenders Oversee the project's procurement / management of sub-contractor packages Deal with final accounts / any dispute resolution that may arise Mentor junior members of the Surveying team and be involved in their professional development Key Requirements for this Senior Quantity Surveyor position: Hold a BSc Quantity Surveying or HNC Have experience working as commercial lead on sizeable projects Have experience managing projects from pre-construction through to final account Be proficient in administering various forms of contract including JCT and NEC Have the full right to work in the UK and be happy to commute to Bath What you will receive in return: Salary: Up to 85k Company Car / Car Allowance Matched pension contributions Additional flexi benefits Clear progression pathways / development plans This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a strong business with plenty of progression opportunities and exciting schemes in the pipeline.
