You'll report directly to the Head of Department and be responsible for providing first class legal services and assistance to a range of clients. This role is office based in Lake House, Port Solent, hybrid working will also be considered.Role ResponsibilitiesAs a Corporate Solicitor you will be responsible for effectively and efficiently managing your own diverse caseload. You will provide sound, professional advice to clients (as buyer, seller, lender or any other interested party) in relation, but not limited to:Share sales and purchases, including drafting, reviewing and negotiating the Share Purchase Agreement and other key documents, and conducting or engaging in the due diligence (depending upon whether you are acting for the buyer or the seller);Asset sales and purchases, including drafting, reviewing and negotiating the Business Purchase Agreement and other key documents, and conducting or engaging in the due diligence (depending upon whether you are acting for the buyer or the seller);Advising in relation to corporate governance matters and company law matters;Company restructuring;Employee share schemes;Shareholder agreements.Job RequirementsOur ideal candidate will be someone with proven experience who takes a professional, client-first approach to each case they run. They will have sound knowledge and expertise in the field, exceptional attention to detail and the ability to communicate in a friendly, professional and confidential manner. The role will suit those with a positive and flexible approach and an ability to remain calm under pressure in order to project the image and ethos of the firm at all times.Whilst character is important to us, we do require a certain level of experience and qualification to succeed in this role. These are:Must hold qualified solicitor status in England and Wales or be a qualified Legal Executive.Minimum 3 years post qualification experience in England and/or Wales dealing with corporate matters.Please be aware all roles require the right to work in the United Kingdom, sponsorship of such right will not be provided.
