Workshop Fitter

Position: Workshop Fitter Location: PortsmouthJob Type: Permanent, Monday - Friday 7am-4pm or 9am-6pmSalary: £45,000 (DEO) The RoleAs a Workshop Fitteryou will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing various types of trailers, ensuring they meet DVSA standards.Key Responsibilities:Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on trailersDiagnose and fix issues with brakes, suspension, lighting, bodywork and other componentsConduct welding and fabrication work when necessaryMaintain accurate service records and documentationEnsure compliance with safety regulations and industry standardsWhat We're Looking For:Proven experience as a Workshop Fitter / Trailer Technician / Trailer Fitter or similar roleStrong knowledge of trailer components and repair techniquesMust have experience working on commercial vehicles Welding and fabrication experience (preferred but not required)Must have own tools A valid HGV driver's license (is a plus)Package* £40K - £45K (DEO)* 33 days holiday (Inclusive of Bank holidays)* Company Pension* Regular overtime available* Working for a company who invests in its employees and offers training and progressionWR Logistics are the #1 recruitment partner for all vacancies in the logistics industry.
