Job Description Our clients have an exciting opportunity for a Service Engineer to join their growing team. The position offers opportunity to train, develop and progress.The Service Engineer will attend sites and conduct the following tasks although not limited: Planned Preventative Maintenance, Emergency Callouts, Upgrades/Repairs and Installation and Commissioning works.Duties & ResponsibilitiesCarrying out routine/planned scheduled maintenance workResponding to breakdown and equipment faultsDiagnosing breakdown problems and carry out first time fixFitting new parts and making sure equipment is working correctly prior to signing offLiaising with client departments, customers and other engineering and production colleaguesDealing with emergencies, unplanned problems and repairsEnsure van stock is controlledTo complete timesheets/expenses on a regular basis and submit on timeTo ensure PPE is adequate for the H&S purpose and arrange for new kit to be ordered when requiredPerform with an understanding of business requirements and support all continuous improvement activitiesRespond to customer enquiries in a professional mannerEnsure report forms are completed accuratelyCarry out such additional responsibilities as may be considered necessary by the Management TeamRequired Skills & Experience:Knowledge of electrical and/or mechanical systemsKnowledge of Microsoft Office softwareGood customer service & communication skillsHappy to work at heightsFlexible to work a variety of hours - days & nightsDriving license is required for this positionJBRP1_UKTJ
