Job Description Trainer, Training, Instructor - Electrical Electronic Engineering Royal NavyPortsmouth, HampshirePermanent SC Cleared Term Time working39,000 to 41,000 pro rata + Large Co BenefitsThis is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced engineering professional to make a lasting impact by mentoring the next generation of Royal Navy engineers leveraging your career expertise without the need for prior teaching experience!Main Tasks & ResponsibilitiesTrainer, Training, Teacher, Instructor, Electrical Engineering> Delivering training to groups of up to 24 trainees in Electrical or Electronic engineering and machine principles> Conducting practical lab sessions, demonstrating key principles and supervising trainee experiments> Marking and check-marking assessments to ensure accuracy and consistency> Maintaining and updating training materials with Training Design staffEssential Skills & ExperienceTrainer, Training, Teacher, Instructor, Electrical Engineering# At least a Foundation Degree in Electronic or Electrical Engineering (or a related engineering discipline), or an HND/FdSc in Electronic or Electric Engineering or proven teaching/practical experience in Electronic or Electrical EngineeringDesirable (not essential) Skills & Experience~ Classroom experience in teaching technical subjects in an adult education environment,~ Level 4 teaching qualification~ Experience of the Defence Systems Approach to Training (or equivalent).This role is offered on a term time basis working 45 weeks per year, with non-working weeks taken 2 weeks at Christmas and Easter and 3 weeks in August.
