Commercial Gas Engineer Location: Portsmouth Salary: 49,000 (DOE). 1,000 joining bonus Hours: Monday Friday, 40 hours per week. We deliver reliable, high-quality, and sustainable solutions for both public and private sector clients. Were seeking a skilled Commercial Gas Engineer to join our growing team. Youll work across Portsmouth County Council sites including offices, schools, libraries, and adult care facilities, delivering planned and reactive maintenance on mechanical systems. Key Responsibilities: Maintain and repair gas appliances, heating systems, and hot/cold water systems Diagnose faults and carry out remedial work Participate in out-of-hours call-out rota Ensure safe working practices and liaise with site staff Escalate issues and complete electronic documentation Essential Qualifications & Skills: NVQ Level 2/3 in Mechanical discipline or equivalent Commercial/Domestic Gas Certifications (e.g. CCN1, CODNCCO1, CDGA1, CIGA1, TPCP1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1 and CORT1.) Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to use SMART devices Full UK driving licence Desirable: Oil and LPG qualifications (e.g. OFT10-101, CONGLP1PD) Unvented water systems & electrical safety training Experience in similar roles and sectors This role will be working for Corrigenda FM, who are part of the Apleona Group.
